The PBI 50N system serves the purpose of construction of barriers and structures for interior and exterior casing that do not require thermal insulation, such as: doors, windows, including serving hatches, non-load-bearing partition walls, cabinets, boxes.
The profile depth of 50mm makes it one of the strongest profiles of this group in the market. On the basis of the system PBI 50N smoke-proof doors and walls may be constructed.
The door smoke-proof properties of the PBI 50N and PBI 40E systems have been classified on joint approval.
Construction products assembled from the presented set of materials PBI 50N are used in residential, public service and industrial buildings as internal barriers.
The PBI 50N system doors and walls may also be used as internal barriers, only in cases there are no requirements regarding the thermal insulation and water-tightness, and the static calculations provide for the impact of winter load.
he PBI 50N system consists of aluminium profiles without the characteristic 50mm (the casing depth) thermal insulation.
The door frames and leaves are of 50mm, and window leaves of 57mm.
The PBI 50N system may apply a wide range of 4-45mm thick transparent and non-transparent infill.
The maximum structural dimensions possible to implement in this system are the following:
- HxB=2400mmx1200mm in case of one-fold doors or
- HxB=2300mmx1300mm in case of one-fold doors
- HxB=2400mmx2210mm in case of two-fold doors or
- HxB=2300mmx2600mm in case of one-fold doors
H – clear door height
B – clear door width.
Other values particular for each system)
The system has technological solutions transferred from the warm PI 50N system introduced earlier on groove hinges. The accessories and fittings are the common characteristic of the systems. The unification introduced enables fast production of the structures eliminating the possibility of error during pre-fabrication.
The structure aesthetic values are emphasized by the high quality of the profile surface finishing: powder varnishing and anodising.
The offered products are painted in any colours in accordance with RAL marking.
The PBI 50N system allows for the creation of doors, including swing-door, windows, including serving hatches, the structures of partition walls and cash walls. The system enables structure creation in multiple configurations and layouts. The wall construction at any angle, including 90 and 135 degrees is also possible.
The profile depth of 50mm makes it one of the strongest profiles of this group in the market. A wide range of profiles, including supported pillars allows for the production of large constructions.
Any type of glass available in the market may be used as the fill. These may be single, insulated or bullet-proof panes made of transparent, absorptive, ornamental or reflexive glass. Apart from the abovementioned, there are also other fill types, such as aluminium panels, any furniture walls, plaster or polycarbonate panels. The maximum fill thickness is 45mm.
The PBI 50N and PBI 40E system doors and walls will obtain a common technical approval whose purpose, the scope of application, as well as research methodology and classifications are in accordance with the ETAG 003 European Union document.
